The 37-year-old burlesque queen said, “I am so proud to launch the Cointreaupolitan at such a chic event in Madrid and Stockholm after Athens and Milan, with beautiful people, wonderful food and of course delicious cocktails. The Cointreaupolitan, that's the way I love it!” (The Cointreaupolitan is a subtle blend of Cointreau with cranberry and a dash of lemon juice.) Posted: 27 May 2010 08:05 PM PDT  Nick Jonas will be making his West End theatre debut at London’s Queen’s Theatre starting June 21, his rep confirms to JustJared.com. The 17-year-old Jonas Brother will play the role of Marius in Les Miserables. Nick said, The amazing [theater producer] Cameron Macintosh reached out to me last year about portraying the role of Marius in London at the West End. When I was ten years old I was in Les Miserables [on Broadway] as Gavroche. On my closing night in 2003 I told my parents that I would come back to be Marius one day. It is truly a dream come true.” |

The 19-year-old actress has joined the cast of the upcoming horror flick Scream 4. She joins Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and Neve Campbell. According to EW, Emma is expected to play Jill, one of the film's primary heroines. Emma will start to shoot in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan beginning June 28! |

Posted: 27 May 2010 05:05 PM PDT  James McAvoy has nabbed the role of a young Charles Xavier, aka Professor X, in X-Men: First Class, out June 3, 2011. First Class will "chart the epic beginning of the X-Men saga. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were the closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men." Helming the X-Men prequel will be Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, Layer Cake). Bryan Singer, who directed the first two X-Men movies and conceived the story for First Class, is producing and will kick off production this summer in London. Although an insider tells E! that “nothing is even close to being anything official yet.” The new version of Alias would “borrow some elements of the original series that starred Jennifer Garner (and Michael Vartan, Victor Garber and Bradley Cooper). According to EW’s Michael Ausiello, sources exclusively told him that Julia will play a top-secret role but most likely won’t play a major villain like John Lithgow’s character last season. Most recently, it was also announced that Julie Benz will be returning to Dexter. Julie played Dexter’s love interest, Rita, in the series who was murdered in the show. With as few as 3,200 tigers left in the wild, WWF and Leo today kicked off the Save Tigers Now campaign. In honor of the Chinese Year of the Tiger, an ambitious goal of $20 million has been set with the vision of doubling the tiger population by 2022, the next Year of the Tiger. "Tigers are endangered and critical to some of the world's most important ecosystems," said Leo. "Key conservation efforts can save the tiger species from extinction, protect some of the planet's last wild habitats and help sustain the local communities surrounding them. By protecting this iconic species, we can save so much more." Leo is currently in Asia right now with WWF experts to see the threats tigers face first-hand.
