Posted: 15 Nov 2010 09:20 PM PST  Leighton Meester rocks a custom Prabal Gurung dress at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards held at NYC’s Skylight Soho on Monday (November 15). The 24-year-old actress paired her dress, which was created in collaboration with Swarovski, with Roger Vivier shoes and Monique Pean jewelry. Designer Prabal Gurung, as well as Leighton’s Gossip Girl co-stars Blake Lively, Ed Westwick, and Chace Crawford were also in attendance at the soiree. Last week, Leighton hit up the CMA Awards and the premiere of her latest film Country Strong in Nashville.

| Brad Pitt To Create Chilean Miner Movie? Posted: 15 Nov 2010 10:50 AM PST  Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B Entertainment, is in negotiations to buy the film rights to the rescued Chilean miners’ story. A lawyer for the miners told a publication in Santiago (via TheWrap) that Plan B has made a multi-million dollar offer and that there’s potential for several of those rescued to be cast. The lawyer added that there have been an average of ten offers per day to buy the rights to the story, but that the miners want to form a holding company to split profits evenly before they sign with a producer. UPDATE: A rep for Plan B told EW the reports are a “huge wave of nothing. We have shown potential interest, but there have been no serious discussions.” |
