The family, without oldest son Brooklyn or mom Victoria, spent the afternoon at the arts and crafts boutique working with ceramics. | Jay Electronica Joins Jay-Z's Roc Nation Posted: 12 Nov 2010 07:52 PM PST  Rapper Jay Electronica is the latest artist to join Jay-Z’s music label Roc Nation, JustJared.com can confirm. Jay-Z made the announcement at a secret show held at NYC hotspot The Box on Friday (November 12), which was also attended by his wife Beyonce and R&B artist Omarion. “He’s an official Roc Nation signee,” Jay-Z yelled as he did his introduction. “Make some noise!!!” Jay Electronica (real name Timothy Elpadaro Thedford), 34, is best known for his critically-acclaimed track “Exhibit C,” which was released in late 2009. Here’s what the 25-year-old rapper had to share: On life before making it big: “The last job I had was as an office manager in a little, tiny room where I literally wanted to strangle this guy because he was so loud and obnoxious. I would go home with stress pains in my neck and my back. That's when I went to my mother and said, 'Look, I'm not going back to work.’ I'd been fired like 15 times because I had a horrible attitude.” On waiting tables: “I worked at Red Lobster before that and I chased a customer out of the restaurant once so I could stick my middle finger up at her and demand that she give me my pen back. I swear to God I was bad.” On her rapping style: “When I started rapping, people were trying to make me like the typical New York rapper, but I'm not that. The 32-year-old 90210 star tweeted the photo while on break from shooting scenes. Synopsis for the episode, titled “Man Up” (via Zap2It): The team investigates what appears to be a staged online photo of a hooker who has been strangled to death in a dumpster. They’re surprised to find that the woman has actually been murdered. Trevor’s character is an actor who plays a Spartan at a casino. He claims to have been attacked in a bathroom and the assailant stole his sword, breastplate, and helmet. FYI: The episode will air sometime in early January! |

The concert celebrated the release of the 36-year-old soul singer’s new album The Lady Killer, which dropped in stores last Tuesday! The 24-year-old pop superstar will shoot the cover overseas later this month with renowned photographer Mario Testino. Gaga reportedly will be the March 2011 cover star for the spring fashion issue. (She’s already worn the meat dress for the Autumn/Winter 2010-2011 issue of Vogue Hommes Japan, pictured here.) Other rumors include Gaga joining the new Muppets movie! Production Weekly is reporting that Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet and The Office’s John Krasinski and Ed Helms may be in Gaga’s entourage for the movie. Sounds like comedy gold to us!
