| Amanda Bynes Quits Acting at 24 Posted: 19 Jun 2010 03:59 PM PDT  Amanda Bynes has announced on Twitter that she’s quit acting to pursue other endeavors. “I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been apart of, “the 24-year-old former actress writes. “I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play. Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.” Amanda continues, “I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired.” Ms. Bynes next stars in the Emma Stone comedy Easy A, which opens in September. "[Rachel's videogame] is coming and we will announce it in December — we'll announce the game and [her new] movie together," her dad Danny Bilson told HollywoodLife. "It's a really important franchise of ours that is being tied to a major director and a major movie." Danny reportedly gave this quote when Rachel came out to support him on Wednesday at the party for video game developer THQ, where he works. Rachel’s camp has yet to confirm this rumor. |

The show is a blistering, graphic satire on violence set in 1993 on the rocky island of Inishmore. Padraic (Pine), a hard-boiled terrorist, has been away in Northern Ireland with his busy schedule of torture and assorted nationalist mayhem, but he is lured home to Inishmore by the news that his beloved cat, Wee Thomas, is doing poorly. When Padraic finds out Wee Thomas has been murdered, he initiates a cycle of revenge-killing that threatens everyone in his path, except perhaps the love-struck Mairead (Zoe Perry), a 16-year-old terrorist groupie with a BB gun. The biopic will be based off a biography of the life of Noor Inayat Khan, who was a female Muslim Sufi agent during the war. The screenplay will be written by Judy Morris (Happy Feet).
