| Enrique Iglesias: Latino King of Pop? Posted: 14 Jun 2010 08:20 PM PDT  Enrique Iglesias is crowned Latino King of Pop in the June/July 2010 issue of Para Todos magazine. His new album Euphoria drops July 6. Several songs were produced by RedOne (Lady Gaga) including, “I Like It”, “Why not Me”, “One Day at a Time” (featuring Akon) and “Dirty Dancer” (featuring Usher). Here are some choice quotes from Enrique’s interview: On his new album: “This album is unique in my career. Ten years ago, I wanted to do something half English and half Spanish, but there was no time and the record company was not prepared. Euphoria catches me at my most creative moment. I worked with only three producers and we are all friends, so it was a very relaxed setting.” On where he plans to tour: “I believe that with the exception of Alaska, everywhere. (laughs) The album takes considerable effort for the whole team. It’s like having two girlfriends and the two must be given proper attention (referring to Euphoria having both half English and half Spanish songs). On his love life: “In terms of my personal life, the sea is calm, with waves, occasionally a tsunami, but even in that, I was lucky to have found Anna [Kournikova]. She’s a great girl, smart and it’s our degree of independence and freedom that allows us to be so close.” |

Here’s what the 19-year-old actor had to share after chatting exclusively with JustJared.com recently: On his summer plans while Gossip Girl is on hiatus: “I'm supposed to get down to - or up - in Amsterdam and to Montreal and hopefully to go to the beach.” On his hopes for Eric next season: “He's the only one left in high school. It's time to watch him handle stuff on his own considering how many hang-ups he's had in the past about being alone. Now that Jenny's gone and his father wasn't there… We really get to see him tough it out by himself.” On whether he thinks Eric and Jenny’s relationship will last: “I think it will be strong - absence makes the heart grow fonder, as does drama. So she's had some drama at the end of this season. Since then, they've forged a stronger bond.” |
| Posted: 14 Jun 2010 06:20 PM PDT  Megan Fox’s waistline was the talk of the town when the first pictures of her walking around the Jonah Hex set wearing a corset popped up online. “It’s small,” she admitted to MTV of her waistline. “We got it down to 18 inches. But in the action scenes, we loosened it up, because everyone was afraid I was going to pass out. At the end of the day when we would take it off, it would leave these deep grooves, these deep indents from the boning in the corset. I’d have it for the whole next day. The next 24 hours I’d be imprinted with the corset. It hurts your ribs!” Was Megan able to keep the corsets as souvenirs? “Those were all actually vintage corsets that needed to go back,” Megan said. “I couldn’t own them. Plus, they were all falling apart by the end of the movie. I beat them to hell.” |

| Kid Cudi Arrested on Drug and Violence Charges Posted: 14 Jun 2010 10:05 AM PDT  Kid Cudi has been arrested and charged after an incident in New York City on Friday (June 11). The 26-year-old musician “repeatedly pounded on and kicked [a woman's] downtown apartment’s door, ultimately using his bodily force to tear it off its hinges,” according to People. The Guardian reports that Kid Cudi was in possession of liquid cocaine at the time of his arrest. It’s not yet clear whether he was intoxicated at the time. Kid Cudi’s last incident with police was in December, when he reportedly punched a fan in Vancouver during a concert. |

Here’s what the 42-year-old entertainer had to share with editor Nick Haramis for the “Smart” issue: On the beginning of her career: "I signed up for [unemployment] when I graduated, but I never got a check because I started working on Neighbours. Fame wasn't the driving force, but I can't say I didn't aspire to it at all. I used to daydream as a kid that my neighbor was a record producer and that he would hear me singing." On the day before announcing her breast cancer diagnosis: "It was the first time I'd felt such absolute terror. We stopped at a café that day. I remember looking at everyone around me, watching how normal they all seemed, and thinking, These people don't know now, but they will tomorrow." On her last album, X: "That album had some great moments on it, but, as a whole, it wasn't cohesive. The 45-year-old Brit reportedly has a four-year contract to consider and if accepted, will start a primetime show in the fall.
