Posted: 23 Feb 2011 09:20 PM PST  George Clooney and Ryan Gosling film scenes for their new movie The Idles of March on Wednesday (February 23) in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Idles of March is the film adaptation of the play Farrugut North, which starred Chris Pine in an Los Angeles production last year. The film is about “an idealistic staffer (Gosling) for a newbie presidential candidate (Clooney) gets a crash course on dirty politics during his stint on the campaign trail.” George is also directing the film with Evan Rachel Wood, Marisa Tomei, Paul Giamatti, and Philip Seymour Hoffman all on board. |

Posted: 23 Feb 2011 08:20 PM PST  Orlando Bloom will read selections from the classic play Romeo & Juliet at the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s concert of composer Tchaikovsky’s music inspired by Shakespeare. Brothers and Sisters actor Matthew Rhys will read from Hamlet, Malcolm McDowell will read from The Tempest, and Grey’s Anatomy’s Kate Burton will serve as stage director and host, according to the L.A. Times. The concert series runs from March 10 to March 13 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and will even be broadcast live into movie theaters on the 13th!
