| Angelina Jolie: Bosnian War 'Love Story' Film In The Works! Posted: 22 Aug 2010 06:14 PM PDT  Angelina Jolie sits down with Naveed Hussain (UNHCR Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Haris Silajdzic (Muslim member of the Bosnian tripartite Presidency) during her visit to Sarajevo, Bosnia, on Saturday, August 21. A top official in Bosnia says the 35-year-old UNHCR Goodwill Amvassador is interested in supporting education and other projects to help young Bosnians and people who return to homes they left during the war. Angie was also in town inspecting filming locations as she plans to shoot a movie there set during the 1992-95 Bosnian War. “The film is a love story, not a political statement,” she said in a statement. “I would like to involve as many local people as possible and learn as much as I can.” |

| The Expendables: #1 at the Box Office Again! Posted: 22 Aug 2010 01:49 PM PDT  Sylvester Stallone and his mercenary muscle man in The Expendables topped this weekend’s box office for a second week in a row, earning another $16.5 million. The Twilight spoof Vampires Suck opened at No. 2 with $12.2 million. The Julia Roberts starrer Eat Pray Love opened at third with $12 million, followed by the urban comedy flick Lottery Ticket, which pulled in a healthy $11.1 million. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg’s comedy The Other Guys rounded out the top 5 with $10.1 million while the remake Piranha 3D met expectations, opening at No. 6 with $10.0 million. The Jennifer Aniston-Jason Bateman comedy The Switch failed to impress moviegoers, opening at #8 with $8.1 million. |
