Posted: 15 Aug 2010 08:59 PM PDT  Damages actress Rose Byrne comes out to support producer Jason Blum at the Breakthrough Of The Year Awards at West Hollywood’s Pacific Design Center on Sunday (August 15). At the ceremony presented by Crest 3D White, Jason picked up the award for Breakthrough Producer (he produced Rose and Patrick Wilson’s upcoming horror flick Insidious, out 2011). According to THR, Rose to set join the cast of X-Men First Class as Moira MacTaggert, a genetic mutation scientist. She’ll be the love interest of James McAvoy, who plays a young Professor X. In the Matthew Vaughn-directed pic, Rose and James join Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Caleb Landry Jones as Banshee, Aaron Johnson as Cyclops, Alice Eve as Emma Frost, Jennifer Lawrence as shape-shifting Mystique, and Kevin Bacon as an unknown villain. |
