| Posted: 25 Feb 2010 06:50 PM PST  Former Growing Pains actor Andrew Koenig’s body was found dead on Thursday (February 25) in Vancouver’s Stanley Park. The 41-year-old had been missing for over a week and family and friends began to search for Andrew. On Thursday morning, Andrew’s parents and 10 friends split into two groups and after about two hours, one group had found the body. Andrew’s dad, Walter Koenig said, “My son took his own life.” He also spoke out to others, saying, “If you can learn anything from this, it’s that there are people out there who really care, and you may not think so, and ultimately it may not be enough, but … before you make that final decision, check it out again, talk to somebody.” RIP Andrew. |
